Trying to get the hang of fusion
The idea is to create a modification or fix to an object - in this case I chose the apple USC cable for my laptop. I think it's a poor design, the pin bends too easily and the cable bends and twists into permanent damage too easily.

So I wanted something that would stop this from happening but still had the Mac look and feel.

Due to two weeks of self isolation I have no access to 3D printers so decided to keep going with how I might make the mould for this and research various materials that would fit the brand
Looking into aluminium casting
Unfortunately this is not possible at the academy but would love to try in future or elsewhere

Just trying to see if the cable fits in the beginning - it doesn't.
Horrible colour - also not quite a great fit yet but moving towards a more apple inspired shape-design
It fits - the shape is inspired by the sharp edges of a mac with the rounded corners. The height is also correct now. Fits nice and snug. Time to move onto the moulding stage.

Trying to tackle the plaster mould
Plaster mould
Successfully tackled my first 4 part (or any multiple part) mould.
As I could not get any Bismuth in time I decided I would try giving Tin a go.
the results were not as clean as I had hoped ut I think that maybe down to the nature of the melting technique.
